Lithium Management Unit (LMU):

The LMU is designed for control of Lithium Ion family of batteries.  Each LMU is capable of monitoring the voltage of as many as 24 cells using 6 thermistor inputs.  A network of multiple LMU's dynamically controls hundreds of cells using a serial bus. The result is an optimized capacity over the life of the battery pack.

The patented EnergyCS LMU measures temperatures, cell voltages and facilitates balancing for lithium-ion storage systems. Our expertise with numerous battery technologies provided the knowledge to create a monitoring and control system unique to lithium-ion.
