Battery Management Unit (BMU):

The BMU monitors high voltage (up to 1000V), temperature, electrical values and other critical parameters of the modules.  It was developed for use with lead-acid and nickel-metal hydride storage systems.  The original EnergyCS BMU is now adapted and upgraded to include proven capabilities for advanced lithium chemistry. 

The BMU gathers data and analyzes sensor readings from the systems LMU’s.  Based upon the information received, the BMU makes decisions to optimize performance while maintaining a high level of safety.
