Software Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated software quality/Test Engineer to help build the next generation of high-energy automotive battery systems.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or software engineering from a top institution and have 3-5 years of experience with software QA and testing with embedded software systems, preferably in an automotive environment.

The candidate should be an expert in the C language on embedded platforms, preferably Freescale 9S08/9S12, and familiar with automotive software requirements such as MISRA. Candidate should also have experience using automated software and functional test tools, including VectorCAST and National Instruments LabVIEW.

The candidate must be able to produce quality test plans, execute software testing using automated testing tools, deliver test reports and take ownership of the software quality process. Experience with software DFMEA is also required.

The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment which is rapidly expanding and offers new challenges every day. Ability to take ownership and work independently are extremely valuable in this challenging but exciting role.
